Have I helped you love your space a little more? 🏡🤍
If you've worked with Repose Homes, I'd love to hear about your experience!

And that doesn't only mean an in-person project. If you've ever reached out to me through Facebook Messenger, text, or photos of your space and I've helped you figure out how to decorate it, organize it, choose pieces, rearrange a room, or simply decide what would work best in your space, that counts too! 🥰

I've had the opportunity to help quite a few people this way over the years, often just through messages and photos, and I'd love for those experiences to be represented too.

As a local, woman-owned small business, Google reviews make a huge difference. They help people in our community discover Repose Homes and, more importantly, let potential clients hear directly from people I've actually helped.

Your review doesn't need to be long or fancy, just your honest experience working with me and how I helped you with your space. 🤍

Sometimes a room doesn’t need more space, it just needs a plan. 🤎

When my client first reached out, one of the things she shared with me was that she felt overwhelmed by all of the open space in her new home. With an open floor plan and so many possibilities, she wasn’t quite sure how to define each area or create a layout that felt intentional.
And honestly, that’s something I hear more often than you might think. A big, open room can be beautiful, but figuring out where one space should end and another should begin can sometimes be harder than decorating a smaller room.

That’s where space planning came in. ✨
For this area, we carved out a defined dining space while still allowing it to feel connected to the adjoining living room. We used a console table between the two areas to create a subtle visual division, no walls needed. It gives the eye a natural stopping point, helps establish two distinct spaces, and still preserves the openness of the home.

Then came the part that makes a house feel like her home.

My client loves red ❤️, and I didn’t want to take that away from her. Instead, we embraced it through deeper, muted variations: burgundy, brick and earthy reds and paired them with warm woods, natural textures, greenery and soft neutrals. She still gets the color she loves, but in a palette that creates the warm, inviting atmosphere she wanted.

We also incorporated pieces she already owned that have personal meaning to her, because I don’t believe a beautifully designed home should erase the people who live there. Your home should still tell your story. 🤎

And we’re not quite finished yet! One final layer is still on its way: the dining room area rug. 🙌 That will anchor the table and chairs, define the dining zone even further, and bring another layer of warmth and texture into the space.

So consider this our almost-finished reveal. 😉
From feeling overwhelmed by an open room to having spaces with purpose, warmth and personality, this is why I love what I do. 🤎

The part of decorating you don’t always see… 😂🚙✨

Before I ever walk into a client’s home to start styling, there’s a whole lot of behind-the-scenes prep happening first and sometimes it looks a little bit like my entire décor closet exploded into my vehicle. 😅

For each project, I gather the pieces purchased specifically for my client along with items from my own Repose Homes styling inventory that I think might work in their space.

Do I use everything I bring? Absolutely not. 😂

But I’ve learned that sometimes you get into a room, start putting everything together, and realize it needs one more lamp… a different vase… a little greenery… something with height… and there is no better feeling than remembering:

“WAIT. I HAVE ONE IN THE CAR.” 😂🙌

So I tend to overpack.

Some of these pieces were selected and purchased specifically for today’s project, while others are pieces from my styling inventory that I’m bringing along so I have options as the room comes together. If something works beautifully, I can incorporate it into the styling; if it doesn’t, it simply comes back with me for another project.

And then comes the part I conveniently forget about while I’m loading everything up… 😂

At the end of the day, every piece I didn’t use, plus all of my tools, has to come right back home with me. Which means somehow repacking this entire vehicle so that I can, you know… fit my kids in it again. 🤣

Because decorating isn’t just about placing the items you planned ahead of time. A lot of the magic happens once you’re actually standing in the space, moving things around, trying different combinations, balancing colors and textures, and finding those final little details that make a room feel finished. 🤍

This is the not-so-glamorous side of Repose Homes…

A packed vehicle, a lot of preparation, way too many “just in case” pieces, and hopefully a beautiful transformation at the end. 😂🏡✨

Stay tuned to see where all of this ends up. 👀

POV: Every household has THAT one closet. 😅

You know the one…

The kids clean their rooms and somehow everything they “put away” ends up in there. 😂

Something doesn't have a home? Toss it in the closet.

Don't know what to do with it? Closet.

Company is coming? CLOSET. 🚪🤣

And before you know it, you open the door and think… how did we even get here?!

But here's the thing: there's absolutely no judgment here. 🤍 Life gets busy, families accumulate stuff, and sometimes you just need another set of hands to help you tackle the space you've been avoiding.

For this closet, we pulled everything out, sorted through what actually needed to stay, decluttered what didn't, and turned wasted space back into usable storage.

Now, instead of being the household dumping ground, this closet can actually do its job: storing extra linens, seasonal items, winter coats and jackets, and the things this family truly needs.

✨ THAT is what I love about organizing.

It's not about having a Pinterest-perfect home or putting everything into matching containers.

It's about creating a home that functions better for the people living in it.

And sometimes reclaiming just ONE closet can make your whole house feel a little less overwhelming. 🤍

So… who's brave enough to admit they have “that closet” in their house too? 😂🙋‍♀️

And if yours has reached the “open at your own risk” stage, send me a message. Repose Homes can help. 🏡

🍂 The fall transformation continues at Repose Homes… 🍂

Today was all about the DETAILS. 🤎
One of my favorite things about seasonal decorating is that you don't have to completely change your home to make it feel like a new season.

A few pumpkins tucked into unexpected places, warm autumn stems, vintage brass, natural textures, candlelight, and pieces you already own can completely change the feeling of a space.
For this fall refresh, I carried those warm autumn tones throughout the home, from the kitchen and dining room to the staircase, console tables, and all those little corners in between. 🍁

And can we talk about that tiered tray?! 😍 Pinecones + mini pumpkins + gingham + brass might officially be one of my favorite combinations this year.

My goal with seasonal decorating is never to make a home feel like a store display. I want it to still feel lived-in, collected, warm and personal, just with a little bit of seasonal magic added in. ✨

Because sometimes making your home feel special again doesn't require a renovation.
Sometimes it just needs a fresh set of eyes. 🤍

🏡 If you're in Waconia, Carver County or the surrounding west metro and would love help decorating your home for fall, or simply refreshing a space you haven't known what to do with, I'd love to help!

📩 Message Repose Homes to chat about your space.

And now I have to know…

🍂 Are you TEAM DECORATE FOR FALL IN AUGUST or TEAM WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER?! 😂👇

🍂 A little fall magic at Repose Homes… 🍂

One of my favorite things about decorating is showing just how much a space can change with the seasons.

No renovation. No new furniture. Just thoughtfully layering in warm autumn tones, cozy textures, vintage-inspired pieces, seasonal florals, and a little candlelight. 🕯️🍁

I wanted this space to feel warm, collected, elegant, and cozy. The kind of home that makes you want to slow down as the cooler months arrive.

And this is your reminder that seasonal decorating doesn’t have to mean covering every surface in pumpkins. 😉 Sometimes a few intentional changes are all it takes to completely shift the feeling of a room.

Summer ➡️ Fall 🍂
Which do you prefer: the light and fresh summer look or the warm and cozy fall version?

It's amazing what happens when you remove the clutter. 👏

This old horse stall had slowly become a storage space over the years. Today, I rolled up my sleeves and gave it a fresh start, everything was cleared out, the floors were swept, the dirt was raked smooth, and the space is officially ready for its next chapter.

Soon, this will become a beautiful chicken coop, complete with new windows for natural light. 🐔☀️

One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping people see potential where others just see "stuff." Whether it's a room in your home, a garage, a shed, or a barn, clearing the clutter is often the first step toward creating something functional again.
Swipe to see the before and after! Which photo surprised you more? 👇

✨ Every space has potential, you just have to uncover it.
