Let's be honest, life gets busy. Between work, school, sports, appointments, laundry, and everything else on a parent's never-ending to-do list, bedrooms can quickly become overwhelmed with toys, books, clothes, and everyday clutter.

✨ Designer Hack: Framing a Light Switch ✨

One of my favorite parts of this project was this tiny detail that made a huge impact.

My client came across the idea of framed light switches online and immediately fell in love with the look. The problem? She couldn't find a frame that matched her style or worked with the wallpaper she had chosen.

So instead of giving up on the idea, we got creative. I suggested using a small decorative photo frame, removing the backing and glass, and repurposing it as a custom light switch frame. After a little measuring, trimming, and securing it with construction adhesive, we transformed an ordinary light switch into a beautiful design feature that looks like it was always meant to be there.

It's proof that sometimes the best design solutions don't come from a catalog, they come from thinking outside the box.

I love how this simple DIY detail elevates the space and complements the stunning wallpaper without requiring a major renovation or a huge budget.

This stairwell was one of those projects that reminded me why I love what I do.
My client had incredible taste and selected so many beautiful pieces. The challenge was creating a space where everything felt intentional, balanced, and lived in.

We layered rich wallpaper, vintage-inspired artwork, warm brass lighting, and collected decor to create a space that feels as though it has always been there. Instead of filling every wall with artwork, we carefully chose focal points that guide your eye through the staircase, allowing each piece to have its moment while still letting the wallpaper shine.

One of my favorite details? The small decorative frames around the light switches, a creative Pinterest-inspired touch that my client requested. It definitely adds unexpected charm and personality.

The goal was never to make it feel like a showroom or a perfectly matched catalog. We wanted it to feel collected, cozy, and full of stories. The kind of space that makes you slow down, look around, and discover something new every time you pass through.

Design isn't always about adding more. Sometimes it's about knowing when to stop, allowing a room to breathe, and letting the pieces you love speak for themselves.

I couldn't be happier with how this transformation turned out. ❤️

Today was a day of inspiration and hard work! 🌟

I've been looking at locations to open my office for Repose Homes and I decided to open it in my barn. It's something I’ve had on my mind, but was always too busy to just start clearing it out. Well today after work, I did it!

This will not be a public office, but will be a place I will do "How To" videos and Livestreams for my business. I will also storage staging furniture as this is a service I will start offering too😁 I can't wait for you all to see what these 2 hands and the push of the Lord will do🙏❤️
