Burr's Locksmith, LLC

Burr's Locksmith, LLC Commercial, residential, safe and automotive locksmith service. NCLL # 1869. Member of : NCLA, ALOA, Hi, my name is Justin Burr.

I'm a second generation locksmith having learned the skills from my father. He became a locksmith in the early 1970's and opened a shop near Orlando, Florida. Protective Security Products (PSP) Lock & Key remained in business through the end of the decade when my parents returned home to Anson County, NC. Dad continued to offer locksmith services and in the mid 1980's added other services opening

Southeastern Piedmont Window & Door Systems. By the late 1980's I was of working age and helped Dad build room additions, install windows & doors, replace flat glass, build storefronts, service commercial & overhead doors, service locks & make keys. In the mid 1990's we acquired Superior Awning & Glass Co. in Rockingham, NC, adding window screens and awning building to our list of expertise. Now I'm proud to offer this same great quality and service as Burr's Locksmith, LLC.

Thank-you, God, for all you've done.
Kim had her last chemotherapy treatment and rang the bell on Friday, August 1.
Now on to the thyroid nodules (benign, thank God, but still need to be removed).

I love this woman! She has been through so much in her life and she keeps going. She is a pillar of strength in the face of adversity. We thank God for his healing power and answered prayers. We thank all of you for praying, there are so many praying for Kim. Today was the post-op/pre-chemo day and everything is looking great. For someone that had a 8" vertical incision in her abdomen just a few weeks ago, she is doing wonderful. She has a few more chemotherapy treatments but at this point she is considered to have "no evidence of disease." Praise God!

Kim is continuing to heal. She is ok for me to be away for a few hours each day so, beginning today, 6/09/2025, I will try to be available from Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm +/-.
Thank you for understanding.

As of 4pm Wednesday, May 21st, Kim is in recovery. I've talked to Dr. Puechl. The surgery happened today instead of on 2/12 or 3/26 or 5/14 because today is when God had Kim's body ready for the surgery. Dr. Puechl told us about things that had a good chance of happening due to the abscess she had in October, things that we did not want to happen. But God...
God worked a miracle within Kim's body to prepare her for the best outcome possible. Dr. Puechl said that it was an easy procedure, all the spare parts were easily removed as well as ALL visible cancer. Thank-you, Jesus. Thank-you, prayer warriors.

My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in mid-August 2024. We’ve had a long road that has been physically, mentally, emotionally and financially draining. She has done very well with treatments despite having a couple of bumps in the road. After surgery being cancelled on 2/12/25 for sickness and again on 3/26/25 for a thyroid issue and once more on 5/14/25 because the Operating Room was double booked, we are finally going for a very invasive abdominal surgery to remove the cancer on 5/21/25. From now till then I will be finishing a few jobs and preparing to be out of work and with her while she is recovering. I will not be available until, at least, 5/28/25 and probably very limited for a couple of weeks after. Thank-you for your understanding.

Kim has a little swelling in her neck, that is, after a CT scan, suspected to be cancer. More tests are forthcoming, unfortunately, the surgery to remove her lower abdominal cancer has been canceled until we know more about what's going on in her neck. We ask for your continued prayers and for your patience and understanding when I'm unavailable.

Due to sickness, Kim's surgery has been rescheduled to March 26th. So now I'll be available until that week.

I've not posted anything on this business page in a while. In August 2024, we found out that my wife, Kim, has ovarian cancer. Since then, we have had several oncology appointments, chemotherapy appointments, and hospital stays. It was imperative that we attack this cancer quickly and aggressively. Thankfully, the treatments have worked very well. She has surgery scheduled for February 12 to remove the cancer. I will be closed the whole week of February 10th. After that week, I may not be available every workday for a while until Kim heals. Thank you for your understanding.
When you call, leave a voicemail with your name, reason for calling, and a good call back number. Don't expect an immediate return call or same day service. Thanks
