You know it's canning season when I turn our deck into an outdoor kitchen 😍.
Poor mama blue bird is in for a stressful few days. I didn't think a bird would ever make a nest in the bird house I randomly set here a while ago just to get it out of the way for the time being. Well, she laid 4 eggs in there apparently and has been stressfully watching me all day. I've been leaving her some peppers and seeds which she's eaten, who knows maybe we'll become friends by

After treading through the mud this morning the wagon is finally down and ready to go!
The corn got SOAKED on the wagons during yesterday's storm so for today it's marked way down in price.
We also have delicious tomatoes, ground cherries, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, and a few green tomatoes.
I'm so excited more of my peppers are finally starting to ripen including the favorite snacking pepper!
Since our freezer is already full of freezer corn I decided to make corn salsa yesterday and I think it just looks so pretty 😍

Good Morning!
We had an early morning picking corn! We have so much available that we have TWO wagons down today! The second wagon has smaller ears of corn for a discounted price. Don't be fooled, they may be small but they are still delicious!!
We also finally have the favorite pear tomatoes available! We've been impatiently waiting for them to finally fully ripen. Now that they've started they should be coming in by the barrel fulls.
We still also have patty pans, slicing tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and various peppers. Stop by and see us!

The stand is down!
We were out of town for the weekend and returned to a bounty of tomatoes, including a couple new varieties for us this year, the white tomatoes and sweet ice tomatoes.

Hello!
The stand has been down for a couple weeks now but I haven't had a much chance to post many pictures yet, so here we go!
After this mornings pickings we have zuchinni, yellow squash, patty pans (a personal favorite) gorgeous tomatoes, a few green tomatoes, beautiful cucumbers, jalepenos (perfect size for stuffing!), green bell peppers, onions and a new one for us this year is the sweet roasting pepper! I'm still trying to decide what I want to stuff this with and throw on the smoker!
Later this afternoon we should have Sunsweet tomatoes, possibly some pear tomatoes and eggs!
We're currently out of corn, the deer and racoon have called claim to way more than their share!! Hopefully will have more soon.

*** DO NOT pick your own corn from the field!
*** That is not my corn, that would would theft!!
*** That is field corn, intended for livestock, you would not be very happy with your choices if you were to eat it!

Regardless, I picked our first zucchini of the season today! It won't be much longer and our stand will be down at the road ready for service!

The first two tomatoes ready from the garden today! Small but absolutely delicious (per my two 10 year olds who immediately snagged them from me 😜)
Once more produce comes in the stand will be back at the road for self-serve. We hope to have several varieties of tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, beans, corn, onions, and several kinds of hot and sweet peppers, as well as fresh eggs from happy, spoiled Chickens. See you all soon!
