We were honored to have one of our Key Opinion Leaders, Anne Sharkey, DPM, recently speak with students from the Samuel Merritt University College of Podiatric Medicine this past week!
During her presentation, Dr. Sharkey shared her personal journey into podiatric medicine, including the realities of building a practice, navigating early career decisions, and developing an approach to patient care that balances both clinical outcomes and practice efficiency.
She also talked about the importance of having reliable treatment options available in the office ad why PowerStep has become a trusted part of her patient care strategy.
"One of the things that patients also like aside from leaving with a lot of information is some actional steps, and those actional steps can sometimes be - I'm probably not going to be able to make your pain go completely away today, but what is one thing I can do to have you feeling better when you walk out the door - and I will talk about inserts and how that can benefit."
Huge thanks to Samuel Merritt University and the CPMSA for the opportunity to connect with the next generation of podiatric leaders.
