This homeowner was referred to Grizzly Garage Door Service by a family member for the garage door portion of their new construction build! They showed us the building plans and the colors and features that will be on the other portions of the exterior, asked for our opinions and looked over our many options we have to offer, and the results speak for themselves! This project turned out fantastic and beautiful!! The main garage doors are Clopay’s brand new Bridgeport Inlay series in an Ultragrain Dark Oak finish, both on high lift track kits with Liftmaster Side mount openers for an extremely clean and quiet setup! We then installed a Black Avante series full view glass door with midnight tint glass, overlooking the patio from the back side of the garage. This was an amazing project and everything turned out perfect and seeing the homeowners reaction to the finished product was priceless!

Wow!!! That’s the reaction we got when this homeowner in cuyahoga falls saw his new Clopay Cedar Plank series garage doors. An addition was just put on the garage portion of the home which led to a face lift on the front of the home, and they wanted something that would accent everything and give it a wow factor. These doors did just that!! They are beautiful doors that look so realistic it’s hard to believe it when you first see them. We noticed many people slowing down to check them out as they drove by! Another big transformation from Grizzly Garage Door Service! This homeowner in Medina is currently in the process of refacing and updating the whole exterior of the home with darker color siding, wood accents, and knew the original white garage doors weren’t going to fit with the new look. They called us out for a free consultation, explained their plans and visions for what they wanted, and with the use of our sample panel selection and door designer tools on our website, we were able to show the homeowner what her visions would look like on the house to help make the final decision. She chose the Clopay Gallery collection doors in an Ultragrain Medium wood grain finish, with architectural arched windows! The difference in curb appeal was out of this world, but the new doors also increased the thermal efficiency by double compared to what we removed! A homeowner local to us in Wadsworth called us out when their garage door opener decided to fail. We assessed the system to determine what caused the failure, which led us to find the door itself had been running very heavy and unbalanced for many years after another company installed the incorrect springs on the door. This put more stress on the opener system which caused it to fail sooner than it should. While inspecting everything, we also noticed the incorrect size door had been installed in the past causing the top of the door to be hidden behind the header and cutting off the exterior panel design. The home owner wasn’t pleased to hear about the poor work and lack of attention to detail they had received in the past and wanted it to be done right. They opted out to replace the entire door and opener systems for the piece of mind that they would have nothing to worry about for many years to come knowing the job was done correctly this time around! We installed the correct size door, a Clopay Bridgeport series narrow stamp design, and a new Liftmaster premium model 6690L opener system. They were very pleased at how smooth and quiet everything ran, and even happier knowing the door is the correct fit and running balanced and not harming the opener system anymore!

Garage doors can indeed be damaged from high winds! We recently assisted this home owner in Valley City with a full door replacement due to the storms and high winds we’ve experienced this year. The wind blew the door in so much it cracked the panels all the way through! We replaced the builders grade garage door with something much more durable and will definitely hold up better to Mother Nature!

We had the privilege of helping these homeowners in Wadsworth recently, and what a transformation! Unfortunately the original garage door had suffered some abuse over its lifetime from previous homeowners and getting hit a couple times. The panels were weakened and fatigued and there was no permanent solution for fixing the bowing and cracking panels. At first they were thinking about going with another white garage door like they had, then we made some suggestions and let them know about the new styles and colors that are offered today, and how we could provide a new door that would compliment other parts of the house well! This Clopay Mocha Brown Long panel door matched the color of their front entryway door and the design on the main door as well! It helped pull some of the nicer features and aesthetics from the main portion of the home over to the garage portion as well. They were amazed at new look and we feel it made a major enhancement to the overall look of the home!
