Another Sound Contracting remodel complete.

This project touched nearly every part of the home—from the kitchen and main living areas to the bathrooms, flooring, lighting, trim, paint, and finishes throughout.

The updated kitchen now features a large quartz island, refreshed cabinetry and fixtures, while the primary bathroom received a complete transformation with a freestanding tub, custom tile shower, double vanity, and new finishes. We also updated the secondary bath, flooring, stairway, lighting, and living spaces to give the entire home a cleaner, more cohesive look.

Big remodels have a lot of moving pieces. Our goal is to bring them together into a finished home that feels like it was designed that way from the beginning.

Another Tub-to-Shower Transformation Complete in Wagoner!

This project was especially meaningful because it was completed for a homeowner living with Multiple Sclerosis. Their existing tub had become increasingly difficult—and unsafe—to use.

We replaced it with a beautiful, low-threshold walk-in shower featuring:
✔️ Easy-entry shower base
✔️ Durable, low-maintenance wall system
✔️ Built-in storage niches
✔️ New handheld shower fixture
✔️ Grab bars for added safety and independence

Why? Because this was not just a tile problem.

This shower showed visible tile failure, staining, and signs of moisture damage. The homeowner wanted a repair, but patching something like this would not address the underlying issue — and it is not something we could honestly stand behind.

At Sound Contracting, we believe in giving honest advice, even when that means walking away from a repair.

Would you have guessed this shower was leaking?

At first glance, the old tile shower didn’t look bad. But underneath, it had a water problem—and a shower doesn’t have to look terrible to be failing.

We removed the leaking shower and replaced it with this low-threshold walk-in shower featuring easy-to-clean wall panels, a built-in niche, handheld shower system, and black sliding glass door.

The result is a shower that doesn’t just look better. It’s easier to maintain and built to keep the water where it belongs.

These two shower transformations were designed with comfort, safety, and independence in mind. Features like built-in benches, grab bars, low-threshold entry, and easy-to-clean wall systems can help make daily life safer and more comfortable.

Note: in the shower the soap dishes double as grab bars and outside the shower even the toilet paper holder is a grab bar.
