After getting 4 estimates, I decided on Platinum Painting because they would cover all my plantings and addressed all my concerns and added on the contract. Although they were the most expensive, I am confident that the work done will last decades. Initially, the duo (Roger and Kevin) carefully sprayed chlorine and power washed the homes then meticulously covered the windows, electrical units and water fixtures. The use of a primer, then spray paint and then roller brush ensured that there would be good coverage. Roger made sure that all the "imperfections" were addressed by prepping the spongy wood window frames that get the salt air. They even repaired the stucco that was soft and breaking apart to match existing stucco. They also treated the rusted electrical boxes to stop the rust. I appreciated the care in using the drop cloths and covering all plants and outdoor fixtures. I am a stickler about hand brushing the wood on trims, which seems to be a standard procedure for Platinum Painting. The homes look new, so warm and welcoming! Besides the excellent workmanship, the men were great to work with. Good people. Thanks Roger and Kevin for a great experience! (AJ too!)

I can't say enough good things about Platinum Painting. They recently painted the exterior of my house. I should have had it painted years ago. It was in bad condition. Roger (the project Forman) and Kevin did an excellent job. Roger is a perfectionist and will only do things the correct way. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They were always on time and updated me on their progress. You will not be sorry you hired this company.

BBB 5 Star Review

After searching, then selecting 7 different accreditted BBB businesses to remove, repair, and repaint single level family home with unattached garage. A list of guidelines, concerns,and expectations was provided by homeowner to each business prior to the proposal. Ranging in experience from 5 yrs to 30 yrs and cost between 6 grand to 22 grand, some written propsals were written to legality terms, others vague and some misleading with the language/verbage used in the proposals causing me great concern in my decision making. My decision to choosing Platinum Painting Service of Waipahu, was made clear, concise, simplistic and understanding in the language that everyone could understand that was submitted by representative ******. Well done.As far as the scope of the work, the final product was absolutely amazing from the start of the job to the end of the job. The skill level provided by ****** the site supervisor was impeccable. He did everything that was asked IAW list/proposal and communicated with homeowner clearly. By far the best skilled painter/contractor I ever met. This business is highly recommended. Job well done ******.Thank you.

I'm a few months late with this review but needed to put it out there that this is a great company to go with. We got several quotes from reputable companies (one we even used previously) but chose PPS to do our exterior house repaint for their value, quality of paint used, and process. Roger was excellent and he made sure his team did good, quality work. A few months later and we are still very happy with the results. Would definitely recommend and use again.
