Another flooring transformation complete. 🔨

This project started with dated sheet vinyl that had seen better days, including staining and damage around the perimeter. We removed the old flooring, prepped the concrete slab, and installed new waterproof LVP throughout the kitchen, dining/living area, and hallway.

The continuous flooring makes a huge difference—brighter, cleaner, and a much more updated look without transitions breaking up the space.

🔨 Turning Open Space Into a Dedicated Home Office

This homeowner wanted to turn an open room into a more functional, private home office without completely closing it off from the rest of the house.

We framed down the existing oversized opening and installed a set of glass-pane French doors. The doors provide the separation and privacy needed for an office while still allowing plenty of natural light through and maintaining an open feel.

The final step is finishing out the drywall and paint around the new opening.

A relatively simple change that completely changes how the space can be used.

Before & After: Sliding Glass Door Glass Panel Replacement

Not every foggy window needs a full door replacement.

This homeowner had a failed insulated glass seal in their sliding patio door. Once the seal fails, moisture gets trapped between the panes, causing the glass to become cloudy and reducing visibility. Unfortunately, there's no way to clean the inside of the glass—the insulated glass unit must be replaced.

For this project, we:
✔ Removed the failed glass panel
✔ Installed a new insulated glass unit
✔ Restored a clear view without replacing the entire door

Replacing just the glass panel is often a much more cost-effective solution than replacing the complete sliding door.

Another screened porch refreshed and ready for summer.

This project included replacing both the upper and lower screen sections around the entire porch. The original screens had become loose, worn, and damaged over time. We removed the old screening and installed new screens throughout, giving the porch a clean appearance and making it a comfortable space to enjoy again.

A properly screened porch adds usable living space while keeping insects out and allowing you to enjoy the outdoors year-round.

Deck Stair Railing Repair Completed

This deck had significant rot at the bottom of both stair railings, making them loose and no longer safe for regular use.

Removed the damaged railings and rebuilt both sides with new pressure-treated posts, rails, and balusters to restore the safety and appearance of the stairs.

It's a good reminder that deck railings often look fine from a distance, but rot can develop where posts and rails are exposed to years of weather and moisture.

If your deck has loose railings, soft wood, or signs of rot, now is a good time to address it before it turns into a larger repair.

Bedroom remodel at my house. Added picture frame molding, crown molding, fresh paint, and updated trim work to give the room a more custom feel instead of the standard builder-grade look.
Crazy how much some molding and paint can completely change a room.
