New floors completely change the look of your room! Add a stair renovation and it’s like you have a new home! (“Before”pictures are at the end.) This customer had carpet on the steps and laminate flooring in the basement. Their washing machine overflowed and that resulted in water damage to their laminate. They decided to have us install waterproof vinyl plank flooring and treads to match.

We just finished updating the flooring in this quaint B&B with the most gorgeous view of the ridge! Unfortunately my pictures don’t do it justice. Pardon the unmade beds it is really adorable when it’s all put back together!

Sometimes we feel more like magicians than flooring installers!
We were called by a contractor who was remodeling a kitchen and changed the footprint of the cabinets and moved a wall. His customer was hoping to not have to replace the flooring and was hoping a patch could be done. But they only had the scrap pieces of flooring that were removed from under the island, one full board and a pile of cut pieces!! I really should have taken better pictures but you can see the missing section by the dishwasher in the top picture, there was another section missing behind the island. All things considered I think it came out pretty good.

Another flight of stairs completed. Our customer wanted both the riser and step to be wood. It was a bit of a challenge working in a 150 year old building in Kingston but it was worth the effort.

We just completed a job for a wonderful couple who had their stairs stained and finished by another contractor, unfortunately it just didn’t look nice. We renovated stairs for a neighbor of theirs and they loved our work. So……we installed new white risers and new treads. This was only 1 flight, they had 3 more flights that we also renovated, 29 steps in total!

It’s not often you can say you have everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink! We travel fully equipped! We are heading to Long Lake in the Adirondacks to do a flooring install in a 1970’s hunting cabin that is being fully renovated. We were asked to do a few extra things as well. Lumber is hard to get up here so we brought some with us.

This is a recent job we completed for a customer who lived at the base of the mountains in New Paltz. I usually forget to do before pictures so we only have a few after pictures! This customer wanted vinyl planks installed over cork underlayment. Their flooring choice was perfect for their existing spiral staircase!

Over the past 20 years that Jack and I have been installing flooring together we have helped countless customers to beautify their homes. I am finally trying to put together a page where our customers can share their experiences and pictures.
