We are excited to share the grand opening of PinnacleFit Gym in Jackson, New Jersey. Congratulations, Don and Cathy Allarde, who have made their long-time dream of owning a gym a reality, so they can serve their community in the fitness arena. (Cathy was a former team member at Tokarski Millemann, so this is family).

Sometimes a building isn’t “just a box.” Industrial and large-scale buildings often get dismissed as generic warehouses, when in reality their design can quietly embody purpose, elegance, and thoughtful intention. With clean lines, honest materials, smart use of light, and landscaping that softens hard edges, even a “big box” can feel intentional, modern, and built for people and performance.

During a visit with our lighting rep, Paul Gibeault from Diversified Lighting was challenged to a Star Wars lightsaber fight by Senior Associate Sal Tomasiello, utilizing the LED pendant fixtures by SPI Lighting represented by Chad Sudderberg. Don't be surprised if these fixtures show up on our next project.

The future of architecture is ambitious.

From floating cities to smart homes and next-gen sustainable materials, some ideas feel straight out of sci-fi. They may not be practical today, but exploring them helps us learn how to use AI responsibly and creatively in design.

Our focus isn’t just on what could exist; it’s on understanding how AI can expand possibilities economically, realistically, and beautifully. This still requires the architect to think and analyze. With their years of training and knowledge, they can understand what can realistically be built and done to meet today's stringent building codes.

Can AI keep up with an architect’s imagination? We’re finding out.

In this series, we’re testing how AI-generated images can assist in real-world design. For this one, we started with a building photo, sketched clean linework, and ran it through TMA’s AI generator to reimagine the façade.

It’s a fascinating way to visualize what could be, and to see how technology can complement, not replace, creative design thinking.
