Getting excited for the garlic this year. Planted over 100lbs of some of the best looking/tasting garlic I've ever seen.

Thinking we will have a great harvest with the way things are going. Hoping to have a bunch in the jumbo section this summer.

Going to be taking orders as soon as people want. I have an idea of how much we will get so I'm only going to sell a limited amount this year as I want to replant a lot of it for next year. Also willing to sell wholesale to restaurants and the such.

I will also be making some different products with the garlic :)

When it gets closer to the harvest I will reveal my custom built garlic stand/ market trailer

Been up to a few projects at the Whimsy Dome.

Gaming table with adjustable trays for cards,food and drinks.

Cedar tree that snapped from the snow was carved into a wood spirit at our tunnel entrance.

Black walnut/ cherry butcher block island on caster. Planning on adding a drawer and a door to this as well for versatility.

Camille Sowle has launched 2024 retreat dates! Open to anyone of all ages and genders, but spots are limited for each retreat! Book the room you want depending on your group size or come solo and book the communal room and save a little cash!

Finally got this monstrosity of a project done. Not even sure how many hours in total it took to do this crazy roof but it's basically done now with the exception of a few small lower sections to be done next spring.

WE REPLACED

The 30plus year old asphalt shingle roof with heavy duty aluminum shingles. Full underlayment and went and upgraded the vents.

Our old cracked skylight and had to make a new frame as well as added an "eyebrow" to redirect the majority of the water away from it.

The siding on the cupula in order to make the roofing system seamless from top to bottom. As a sauna builder I have a lot of cedar so decided to use tongue and groove white cedar for the siding.

We will be restraining the deck and siding next year as well. Always something to do but this was a big one.

Big shout out to everyone that came out throughout this month and a half long project. If it weren't for everyone that showed up I'd still have many late nights left... And I'm not sure how many more my body could handle expecially with the coming temps . Special shout out to Steven Sowle for showing up day after day to get this thing shingled.... It was so slow and every tiny thing was a struggle but well worth it for the many years it's will be in-service.

Shouldn't have to touch this roof again In my lifetime unless it gets damaged wich would also take quite a bit seeing as it's rated for over the highest hail rating a shingle can typically get .

Sean Kositzka & Camille Sowle just got back from a backpacking trip to the Isle Royale National Park of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Isle Royale was so wild, we wrote a song along the way to capture all that we saw! (All sightings are at least what we saw, some were under represented to fit the song!) Red Squirrels, downed trees and moose tracks galore!

12 sights of Isle Royale mother nature gave to me!

12 flying wood ducks
11 downed trees
10 snakes a sunning
9 squirrels a screeching
8 moose tracks
7 fox's sneaking
6 beavers damming
5 golden moose piles
4 moose a thrashing
3 swans a swimming
2 wolf prints
1 loon a preaning

Sean also caught a 26' northern which we ate for a few meals!

We walked just over 42 miles with over 3,000 ft of elevation change in the 5 days and 4 nights we were there!

We filtered all our water, had plenty of food and amazing weather the entire trip!
