๐ก Engineer's Corner #01: Why Does Your Bathroom Lighting Make You Look Tired?
Ever looked in the mirror and thought:
"Why do I look so pale today?" ๐ฉ
The problem might not be you โ it could be your bathroom lighting.
Many standard bathroom lights have a low CRI (Color Rendering Index), which means they don't accurately show true colors. As a result, your skin can appear dull, grayish, or even slightly blue under the wrong lighting.
What Should You Look For?
โ
High CRI Lighting (90+ Recommended)
A higher CRI helps reveal natural skin tones, making makeup application, shaving, and daily grooming much more accurate.
โ
Dual-Lighting Design
Many mirrors only illuminate from one direction, creating shadows on your face. Dual-lighting combines front and back illumination to provide more balanced, flattering light.
โ
Adjustable Color Temperature
Different tasks need different lighting:
๐ค๏ธ 3000K Warm White โ Relaxing evening atmosphere
โ๏ธ 4000K Natural White โ Everyday grooming and skincare
๐ 6000K Cool White โ Precision makeup and shaving
Why We Designed It This Way
At Allsumhome, many of our LED mirrors and medicine cabinets feature:
โจ High-CRI LED lighting
โจ Front & back dual-lighting
โจ 3-color temperature adjustment (3000K / 4000K / 6000K)
โจ Smooth dimming control
Because your mirror should show the real you, not a distorted version created by poor lighting.
