9 years, and this business has taught me a thing or two 🌲

When I started Reclaimed in 2017, I had no idea where this little idea would take us. I certainly didn’t have a business plan for all of the twists, turns, lessons, pivots, hard seasons, unexpected opportunities, and beautiful moments that would come along the way.

I’ve learned that building a business isn’t just about growing bigger. It’s about building something that feels true to you, and creating a life around it that you actually want to live.

After 9 years, I’m still learning. Still evolving. Still making things I love. And still incredibly grateful that this little business has given us so much more than I ever could have imagined.

September marks 9 years of Reclaimed🤎

Instagram only let me have 20 slides, so this is very much the abridged version 😂 But come take a little stroll down memory lane with me.

Nine years ago, this started with a few pieces of reclaimed wood, a jigsaw, and absolutely no idea where it would all lead. From those early days in the backyard, to markets and pop-ups, stacks of signs, late nights, new products, first stores, and all the little moments in between, so much has changed.

We’ve watched this business grow alongside our family, learned more than we ever expected to, and somehow kept finding our way back to the reason we started in the first place: creating things inspired by the places we love and the wild that makes us feel most like ourselves.

It’s surreal to look back at these photos and see just how far we’ve come. There are versions of this business—and versions of us—that I’ll always be grateful for. 🥹

And now, nine years later, we’ve turned the page once more. Reclaimed Wild Co. 🌲

New name. Updated look. Same roots.
And somehow, it still feels like just the beginning.

Sharing one of my favorite places with my favorite little people🤍 Watching my daughter walk the same trails, pick the same wild blueberries, and enjoy the dock just as I did as a kid feels like a little piece of my childhood coming full circle. 🫐🌲 And first time at camp for babe.

Seeing Kenz make her own little memories in a place that holds so many of mine is already pretty special. But watching her do it in clothes covered in illustrations I hand-drew? Doesn’t get much better than that.
