Removal of bulky microwave mounted under cabinet. Customer chose a beautiful Italian marble to compliment existing backsplash. Needs the crown molding to be angled to the new tile. I can smell the first carbonara pasta dish right now!!!

Have you heard of the hottest right now? It’s called hygge! I learned about it from one of my brothers in New Jersey who is building a home in this style.

Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for cozy and comfortable vibes, essentially, that promotes feelings of wellness and contentment.

So, how does that translate to interior design?

To bring hygge into your home, you’ll want to add elements that add a certain level of tranquility, leave you feeling present, and up the comfort factor.

Think light and neutral color palette, soft throw pillows and blankets, fuzzy carpets, lots of natural light, open spaces, and practicing minimalism.
