After missing several recent Farmer’s Markets, we’ve decided to shift gears a bit and begin opening Josh’s Perennials & More directly from our backyard nursery and farm. This is a rare event you don't want to miss.

While this season has come with concerning health, pain, and sleep challenges, we still have many beautiful perennials looking for new homes. We would much rather see them planted in your gardens than become increasingly root bound in nursery pots or worse decline in quality.

🌿 Tentative Farm & Nursery Hours This Weekend 🌿

Friday: 4 PM – 7 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Sunday: 11 AM – 3 PM

We currently have a selection of potted perennials available including:
🌸 Yarrow
🌸 Delphinium
🌸 Lavender
🌸 Black-Eyed Susan
🌸 Coneflower
🌸 Nepeta Catmint
🌸 Dianthus
🌸 And more

We also have fresh garlic scapes available while supplies last.

We may also offer:
🌿 Bundle deals
🌿 Mix-and-match discounts
🌿 Special pricing on select inventory

Weekday pickup may also be available by message or scheduled appointment.

Thank you to everyone who continues supporting this small backyard nursery and flower farm. Every share, visit, purchase, and kind word truly helps us continue growing.

Please message us if you are looking for something specific or would like to schedule a pickup.

There is finally some encouraging progress happening in our cutting garden. 🌱🌼

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve started seeing more life emerge across the garden with Calendula, Sunflowers, Dill, Amaranth, Statice, Gladiolus, and Dahlia all beginning to grow and establish themselves. Some are still small or difficult to see in photos, while others are only just breaking through the soil, but every bit of growth feels like a step forward toward what we hope will be a beautiful late summer and fall season.

This season has definitely tested our patience at times. Between weather challenges, health and sleep struggles, and trying to balance the physical demands of running a small backyard nursery, there have been moments of uncertainty — especially when it comes to whether we’ll be able to return to Farmer’s Market soon. At the same time, we still have flowers and plants that need homes before they become root bound in their nursery pots.

We’ve also continued trying to spread the word online through Facebook Marketplace and social media, though reaching new customers has been slower than hoped. Small businesses often depend greatly on community support, sharing posts, and word of mouth, especially during difficult stretches like this.

Even with the frustrations and setbacks, we’re choosing to stay hopeful and keep moving forward one day at a time. Seeing these flowers finally emerge reminds us that growth often happens slowly before the results become visible.

Thank you to everyone who continues to follow along, support us, share our posts, and encourage our little farm and nursery. We truly appreciate it more than you know. 💚

After the recent storm over the weekend, we unfortunately failed to secure our farm stand structure before the weather hit. Between storm cleanup and missing the last two Farmer’s Markets, we are not sure if we will make it back again this month.

Because of that, we are opening the farm this week to help move flowers, garlic scapes, and our curated flower boxes directly from the farm.

We currently have flowers that need homes before they become root bound or decline from staying in nursery pots too long. Every purchase truly helps support our small farm during a difficult stretch.

🌼 Blooming Perennial Flowers
🧄 Fresh Garlic Scapes
📝 We would also love your feedback on our curated boxes!

Please stop by anytime from today through Saturday to shop directly from the farm and support local growing. We are located at 17754 State Route 198, Wapakoneta, OH

Thank you all for your continued support, encouragement, and patience through the storms and challenges this season. We appreciate every visit, share, and purchase more than you know.

It has been a busy week here on the farm as we continue recovering from last week's physical setbacks while working hard to keep everything growing and thriving.

Over the weekend, we planted our Dahlia tubers and Gladiolus bulbs, taking another exciting step toward this summer's cut flower season. Today has been focused on catching up with essential farm tasks, including harvesting our first garlic scapes, potting up young flowers into larger containers, and watering flowers, seeds, bulbs, and newly planted beds.

While recovery is still ongoing, we're grateful to be making steady progress and seeing new growth throughout the farm.

We are also excited to announce that our Farm Stand will be open tomorrow! Stop by to see what is available and support local agriculture.

Then join us this Saturday at the Wapak Farmer's Market. We always look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new customers, and connecting with our community.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and patience as we work through recovery while keeping the farm moving forward. We can't wait to see you this week!

We are sadden to share some bad news. Unfortunately, we will not be attending the Wapakoneta Farmers Market today afterall.

After pushing ourselves too hard working outside over the last couple of days, we are dealing with significant pain and stiffness in the lower back, left hip, and knees, making it difficult to rest and recover. As a result, we need to take today to focus on recovery.

We are disappointed that we won't be able to see all of our wonderful customers and fellow vendors this morning. We always look forward to the conversations, connections, and community that make the market so special.

We will share more updates later this week regarding farm stand opening dates and future farmers markets we plan to attend.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and continued encouragement. We truly appreciate it. God bless!

What a difference a week can make!

Despite the cloudy skies and rainy weather at last Saturday's farmers market, we had a better day than expected and enjoyed seeing so many faces stop by our booth. Thank you to everyone who came out to support local growers and vendors!

Behind the scenes, we've been busy preparing for the seasons ahead. We recently completed our new dahlia crate and seed-starting benches. These new growing areas will help us expand production by providing space to test growing dahlias and whether we want to keep growing them and expand, harden off annual flowers before they head to the field or curated bloom boxes, and start perennial flowers from seed for next season sales and cut flower garden.

We're also planning ahead and placing orders for bulbs, tubers, and corms. This summer we'll be planting dahlias and gladiolus for beautiful late-season blooms. Looking ahead to fall, we're excited to plant tulips and ranunculus for an even bigger display of early spring flowers next year.

The recent rain, followed by warmer temperatures and sunshine, has really perked up the flower beds. Some flowers are already blooming while many others are getting very close!

🌸 The farm stand will be OPEN this Thursday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Stop by to see what's blooming and check out what's available.

As always, thank you for supporting our small farm and nursery. We look forward to seeing you soon!
