Sharing a thank you that Jessy and I received just before Christmas on what was (probably) MY last BIG job.
3 bedrooms, 1 bath…
18 gallons of paint applied to ceilings, walls, trim, doors and cabinets. All surfaces received a minimum of two coats, many had three coats and the cabinets and doors had four or five coats.
A heart felt thank you means SO much. ❤️
The home was previously occupied by a heavy smoker and suffered from a lingering cigarette
smell; however, Jessy and I mixed a vanilla bean scent with the wall paint. I’m happy to report the home now has a fresh / clean smell.
Here is the thank you we received:
“Kenny, With all that goes into Christmas prep, I have not taken time to thank you and Jessy for all the work you both did on our farm home. It looks so much different being brought to new life after 50 years. I loved seeing the pictures and can hardly wait to see it in person. My favorite picture was Jessy in the kitchen. She put in so much hard work with the cupboards to paint and new hardware to add. I felt awful because I was unable to wash more grime off the cupboards before she painted them. I used multiple clothes and a lot of Awesome cleaner at full strength and I was able to clean about half of the lower ones. I assumed it did not matter if I stripped of the surface if I could just get rid of the gummy mess from oils and smoke accumulation. She poured her heart into those and they look gorgeous and she looks proud of her work. BTW I think ——- got the new countertop ordered in Farmer City so that should be installed sometime after Jan 1. I believe ——- said they were about 5 weeks out. Then things should look finished. Again, thank you so much for the work and for becoming a new friend…”
