I want to take a little time today to say thank you for the year that was 2025. It was my first full calendar year being self employed and I can’t express how much it meant to me to have the support from our community to be able to do this full time. Some days I question every decision I’ve made that have led me to that point, but most days I realize just how blessed I am to be doing what I love for people that truly appreciate it.

To my customers/clients- I can’t thank you enough for putting your trust in me for your projects. From floors to roofs you’ve put confidence in me to do it right and I couldn’t be more grateful.

For a little recap of the projects we’ve gotten to do in the last year I’m going to repost some pictures from some of my favorite projects from this year. Some of these will be the first time I’m posting them (I’ve been slacking on posting updates😅). Some projects I just don’t have pictures of… who would’ve thought?

-I realized as I was picking these pictures a couple of these deserved their own post but I never got around to them. Also realized I didn’t take pictures of a lot more projects than I thought🤦‍♂️. Here’s a deck we got to do this week! The old deck was looking a little sad, naturally I forgot to take before pictures🙂. The old deck was out of level, the joists were sagging, and the boards were rotting from the water sitting on it. So we took the old deck off, augered holes to set the posts in, built a beam for the joists to land on to prevent future sagging and used a laser level to make sure everyone thing was on elevation.

This is the biggest deck we’ve done to date and I’m very happy with how it turned out!

Here’s a couple jobs we’ve done in the last couple weeks!

-First is a shower install that included running water lines, plumbing, shower base and wall installation.

Here’s a fun little project we got to this week! These customers wanted some cover when they walked out their basement door. We put a detail in the front and board and batton pine in the ceiling to finish it off.

We also redid a railing in the front of the house to make it more sturdy and to make it look better as you walk into the house.

Here’s a deck we got to do on Lake Walter!

These customers were sick of the sloped terrain their camper sat on that made the stairs difficult to use. They wanted a built set of stairs and somewhere to hang out and relax.

They’re very happy with how it turned out and excited to put their new space to use!

Here’s a project we got to do with CJD Construction!

First things first- Yeah, that’s pretty steep😂 it’s around an 18 or 19/12 pitch. The steepness made this roof a whole new ballgame.

We had to tear off cedar shakes off the roof and sides, add purlins to the roof and install all new steel and vinyl siding.

Overall, we’re very happy with how everything turned out! It was a fun experience and a really cool project to have under our belt.

Here’s another project we got done this week! We gave this deck quite a face lift! We jacked up the front to level it out, installed all new decking, framed in the old stairway, built new stairs and built a brand new railing.

The customers and I are very happy with how this project turned out!

Here’s a roof we did earlier this week as we teamed up with CJD Construction! We tore off the old shingles, replaced rotten plywood, installed purlins and put the steel on. Gave the roof a fresh new look along with a water tights seal!
