Wow, how time flies! We've been busy, busy, busy taking care of all sorts of jobs lately. Here are a few pictures of projects we've completed in the past month or so - from large crush clean up, to zen garden installation, and property overhauls.

While we anxiously await for our season to start, we thought it would be fun to take a look at an exciting and creative project we did last year. A customer called us saying that they were sick of the way their backyard looked. They had old stone edging around some garden beds that had eroded, a stack of boulders in the back that they had plans for years ago but had just been sitting around since, and quite a few plants that had overgrown their space.

The customer gave us a few guidelines - they wanted something that looked fresh, was very low maintenance and serene with a small tree in the back corner. With this info, we quickly came up with a plan.

We started by tearing out the old borders, saving what plants we could, and getting rid of the old landscaping fabric. Then we went about tackling the stack of boulders and built a three layer terrace garden with a weeping cherry tree as the focal point. We then installed new landscape fabric, black edging, mulch, and reinstalled the plants we were able to salvage. We were very happy with the results, and so was the customer!
