This afternoon into tomorrow morning they are calling for up to 3-5 inches in our area no that don’t sound like much, but it only takes a inch to cause slippery and messy conditions.
Firstly, as you are driving remember not to out drive your ability, as driving beyond your ability could cause a serious accident.
Secondly, be cautious as you pass driveways, there could be a truck that backs out suddenly with warning lights or not. Yes when we back up, especially onto roads we pay close attention to traffic areas. However the accumulation of snow, salt, and sand residue on the windows and headlights can cause our field of view to be blurry and us to not even see you. Sometimes as well trucks have obstructions that can prevent us from seeing or being seen as in sanders, equipment, dump body’s, Ect. PLEASE use caution when your riding through places that may have plows regardless of origin that suddenly enters traffic. We can cause a blind spot, always be sure to ride by them slow because you don’t always know what’s on the other side.
Lastly, please be cautious of your speed on snow or ice as spin outs can happen very suddenly.
Please stay safe out there everyone, survive your drive. We all want to go back to our families at the end of it.
If you need a plow, give us a call! 207-691-8292/207-691-3634
