Just a little up on my situation. I contracted COVID back in the end of January. I was in the hospital at Western Missouri Medical Center here in Warrensburg for the last 21 days. I am back home and on the mend. Workers will be sent out throughout March and April doing lawn preps and getting everything ready for the season. Another season has passed, and Winter is almost here! It doesn't seem like Thanksgiving should be only a week away! Oh, how time flies..... And, it's time for Fall Clean-Up and Winterization! Don't remove your leaves: chop them and let them lay. Get them out of the garden and away from the house, but keep them! Leaves are high in the nutrients your soil needs for root expansion and immunity health. Just make sure to put a balanced fertilizer, such as 13-13-13, and lime down. Lime keeps that PH up and turns the roots on to get them feeding! Check out our website for tips and tricks for all of your lawn and garden needs!

The heat of Summer has melted away, and Old Man Winter is knocking at the door: time to Winterize the lawn! December is the ideal time to winterize your lawn with a balanced fertilizer, lime, and aeration. Most people donā€™t realize it, but your lawn does not truly go dormant during the Winter months: only the above ground portion slumbers away. The below root system uses the Winter months to grow and expand. Aeration brings much needs oxygen to the roots, whereas the lime and fertilizer feed the system. Lime is needed to activate the roots so that they can absorb nutrients, and our balanced fertilizer encourages root growth and expansion. We offer two packages for Winterization: #1 includes aeration, lime, and fertilizer: $197.50, #2 includes lime and fertilizer only: $132.50. Prices are for standard size city lots only. Fall - or Winter - is here, and it was just a short two weeks ago that the temperature was 90Ā°..... Now, we have a hard freeze headed for us tonight, and cold weather looks like it is here to stay. The snow over the weekend of January 11th and 12th was one of the most beautiful, awe inspiring snowfalls I can recall. As the photo shows, this was a very photogenic snowstorm. However, just as every rose has its thorn, so does a snowstorm such as this: downed limbs and shattered trees. Also, this week's ice storm has and will cause the same issues. I hope that most of you haven't seen any damage, however, if you were one of those who did, we offer you our storm clean-up services.
