Sometimes it's tracking down a problem, repairing worn components, and doing what it takes to get a customer back up and running safely.

The door may still “work,” but signs your springs may be nearing failure include:

* louder operation
* jerky movement
* door feeling heavier
* gaps in the spring
* opener struggling to lift the door

Most spring failures happen without much warning — and usually at the worst possible time.

We replaced a broken spring setup in Lee’s Summit this week and upgraded the homeowner to a high-cycle spring system designed to last significantly longer than standard springs.
