We got a good start this week on our next project. All the doors and almost all the windows are replaced. Even got a bit of trim around a few of the windows. This house is gonna look sharp. Can't wait to share it with yall.
Also, I was able to get over and check out the progress on our basement project. Its ready for some flooring and trim that were waiting on. Starting to come together.

Spent Saturday helping my dad finish installing bathroom cabinets and trim for a friend of mine. Always enjoy working with my dad. Then my mom and dad helped install our counter top at our house. Feels good to finally have proper counter tops, though the makeshift ones worked for 8 years. These came from Beachy's Custom Countertops and we are very happy with them.

Last few days of this week we tackled a few jobs. One was to square up a shed in preparation for new doors( that I didn't take a picture of🤦). Then we replaced some broken pieces of lvp flooring in a dining room, rehung a down spout for a customer and finished out the week on our shed at the shop trying to get it buttoned up so we can use it and create more work space in our shop. All in all, a good week.

First part of this week, we reshingled a small section of roof. It had 2 layers that we tore off and some rotten decking that we replaced. Installed architectural shingles the right way with new step flashing. Customer was happy.

We also got to try out our new M18 roofing coil nailers from Milwaukee. They worked really well on this job and certainly nice to not have air hoses tangled with our safety restraint ropes. Two 👍 up from us.

This past weeks job I had a looong commute, a whole 100ft to install windows. 😅 This customer now has all new energy efficient windows built to last. We also added some wide vinyl trim around the windows on the outside making this house look sharp with the freshly painted shutters. We were able to get a few windows trimmed out on the inside, and the customer was kind enough to let us wait to finish the trim when we have a rainy day so we'll be back to finish that part of it.

We got to go back to this fun project we did last year and build a pergola this week. Customer provided the pergola, screen, and heater that we installed. The pergola is aluminum construction from Hanso. Its a really nice system with a louvered roof so you can open for a little bit of sun or closed for full shade and has built in gutter system to shed rain. This pergola really added the finishing touch to this back yard oasis.

Tuesday's jobs. First job was to fix a leak around this pipe drain. Another case of just not doing the job right in the first place. Looks like the seam was letting water drip right into pipe pe*******on and they also fastened boot with screws with no washers, but we got it squared away. Second job was to replace a turbine style vent due to age and wind damage. All wrapped up and now on to a fun project we did last year to add a pergola.

We were able to wrap up this siding job in between the rain drops. The gutters are scheduled for next week, bringing this job to completion. The siding goes great with the brick wainscotting and the shutters complement the siding. Customer did a great job on color selection. Turned out beautiful, and the customer was awesome to work with. On to a number of small repairs/ projects next week.
