There are only two tragedies in life: one is not knowing where your sugar is, and the other is keeping it in something unworthy of it.

There is a particular kind of joy in setting a table outdoors. The light is softer, the hours stretch a little longer and somehow everything tastes better when it is shared under an open sky.

This season we have been dreaming about long lunches that drift into evening, about pulling out the good linens for no reason other than the pleasure of it. Our linen collection was made for exactly this. The block-printed patterns, the way the fabric softens with every wash, the small ceremony of folding a napkin and placing it just so. These are the details that turn a meal into a memory.

And it’s never only about the linens. It’s the vessel holding flowers picked that morning, the glass that catches the afternoon sun, the plates passed from one hand to the next. Meet Alaya. Mirror polished and dressed in lattice work that took longer than most love affairs. Alaya doesn’t serve almonds. She introduces them to society.
