Ok my turn for the recap and sap (add it to the list of t-shirts Jamie):

I could not be more happy with a first adepticon than this one. After making new friends at that other convention in DC, I became a part of a community I’ve been searching for, for years. I’ll get to them in a minute, first we go over events:

Classes were a plenty this year and I got to be a part of Trapped Under Plastic Live!
The strict technomancer that is Vincey V told me my hot takes were garbage but my blends were smooth.
My FRIEND Jamie Daggers showed me that you can make the world more vibrant with just 4 colors.
Ben Kantor learned me some things about the physics of light that made me feel like I was back in college (positive)
Jason from Monument Hobbies showed me that skin is really just a translucent bag for this thing we call a body.
Scott and Jon trusted me to be time master chronos this year for the battle of the golden tendie
Finally I survived Fort Wappel for the first time in my life and I’m ready to be back again

Ok, now time for the sap. I finally got to meet people I’ve been hanging out with and playing games with for almost a year now, and also met some people I’ve been following for longer. It’s only been 2 days and I can say with all my heart I miss them and wish we were closer.

To my roommate,
Thank you for literally and figuratively helping me get a space to decompress at the con. I loved Lyct-ing with you and look forward to hanging out more digitally and in person.

To my Hytale, Emergency Helper, fellow assistant to Jamie ,
Thank you for all the caffeine and snacks, and thank you for being the warmest hug and best start to the convention. I’m so excited to see your painting journey blossom and I’m looking forward to coming to visit sooner rather than later!

To the OC: .paints , thank you for welcoming me into the community with open arms, I miss you all dearly already.

The novel continues in the comments, I reached the post limit 😂

Bit of a different post than usual!

I had a couple of Witchsong Miniatures prints that I just don't think I'll have the time to paint myself!

They are on my website now! www.wheelersminis.com

Let me know if you're interested in me selling more prints like this in the comments, I'm always looking to bring the people what they want!

For the first time ever, I am doing an .

This year I started to take this hobby more seriously. I started taking classes, going to conventions, meeting and making new friends, and really started to view this as more of an artistic endeavor rather than just as something fun I do.

Highlights of this year: NOVA ( I made new friends and took classes that have taught me a lot ), First of many classes at Verko's Vault, my first ever sponsor in Eldritch Foundry ( whom you should check out ), winning my first award at LVO, and many more that would take an essay to fully go over.

Thank you to those of you who have supported me in this fun and amazing hobby!

Here's to even more models in 2026, and even more inspiration!

November's Character of the Month might have been 1 month late to make it in time for Orktober...

But here he is: Morugar the Barbarian. Made using Eldritch Foundry as part of my monthly videos using their character creator!

Tried some new techniques and am happy with how he turned out!

Hope you like him!

St. Anley.

Protector of the Home, Feeder of her Sisters, Destroyer of Couches and Carpets Alike.

What a wild ride this has been. I didn't end up finishing the piece I originally planned to take with me to for the , but I had this lovely bust I made using Eldritch Foundry , and knew I wanted feedback on how to better my art.

I never expected to win anything, and was shocked and honored to receive an Iron Medal of Merit for her.

Thank you to Verko's Vault for running an amazing competition, thank you to David Powell for your feedback, and thank you to the judges who allowed me to win my first ever medal!

I still don’t know how to take selfies.

What a crazy time this was: my anniversary with , my first ever competition at by , and classes by .katarzyna.gorska and .

KAHA’s class was a dive into NMM that helped me better understand the contrast needed to make it shine as bright as freshly polished steel.

David Powell’s class was a reminder that patience is needed to create amazing flesh tones and that tinting can add character to any model.

The highlight, however, was my first official medal at a competition for the bust I entered (pics later this week).

I have a ways to go and more practice and painting to do as I continue on this journey of competition painting, but if anything was gleaned from this past weekend it’s this: I have the tools and community to help me achieve my dreams.

Shoutout to for making me compete and encouraging me.

Time for rest 😴…

WOWZA.

Talk about an amazing experience. For my first miniature painting convention, I have to say it’s a success!

From a class with Ninjon (I promise I’ll finish that piece Jon, I’m working on it tonight), to hanging out with THE and crew (who you all will see me sharing more of because holy balls they’re all incredible artists), I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience!

Shoutout to my cousin and her fiancée for housing us and taking us to the zoo and an edm concert.

Shoutout to my wife for joining me and continually supporting me.

Shoutout to amazing artists who inspired me, some of whose pieces I posted here (if you know who painted them let me know so I can tag them)!

And shoutout to for fostering an incredible environment full of nerds and artists who made me feel like I was home ❤️

Nova haul video coming soon!

Until next time!

The final part of my DnD boss battle I made for my players.

I said it in my story, but it's not often I find models that fit exactly what I need for an encounter I am making. The sculptor of these came in clutch, and I love the work they do!

This project is finally done, so now I can get started on my LVO piece for my first competition.

Part two of three of my recent DnD boss battle I ran for my party.

This model actually is what inspired me to make the encounter, and there are things I would change if I painted it again, but I am very happy with how it turned out!
