Inspiring the next generation starts early. 🌿🏙️

Sara had the opportunity to visit her daughter’s daycare and share what it means to be an architect — from designing the spaces we live, learn, and grow in, to understanding our responsibility to care for both the natural and built environments around us.

It was a meaningful moment to spark curiosity, creativity, and stewardship in these young minds — the future caretakers of our communities and our planet.

At ISTUDIO, we believe architecture is more than creating buildings; it’s about shaping a better, more sustainable world for generations to come. 💚

Proud to see Angel representing our team as a judge for the 45th Annual ABC of Metro Washington Excellence in Construction Awards!

Touring school projects across the DMV offered an up-close look at the craftsmanship, coordination, and hard work that bring great design to life.

“Being guided through these sites by the dedicated team members who brought them to life offered an eye-opening look into the craftsmanship, hard work, and perseverance required to shape our built environment.”

Best of luck to all of this year’s contestants! 🏗️

Honored. Grateful. Inspired.

ISTUDIO Architects is proud to receive a SARA NY Award for the Marvin Gaye Recreation Center project—a project rooted in community, connection, and impact.

Having Rick Schneider, FAIA, LEED, there in person to accept the award and reconnect with so many talented colleagues and firms made the evening even more meaningful. Celebrating alongside such incredible work from across the industry was truly inspiring.

Thank you to for this recognition and for championing thoughtful, community-centered design.

Congratulations to all of the amazing teams honored this year!
