Life update:
As most of you are aware, my family moved back to the Midwest. I’m so very thankful for the wonderful clients I worked for in Arizona.

For now, I will not be cleaning homes, but I will be available for painting. Once we find permanent housing, and Reed graduates (this May), this May change.

Sure do appreciate all the love and support shown to us during our 3 1/2 years in Arizona.

Today’s painting included an accent wall in a spare bedroom. Also, a laundry room that went from white to ivory.

A little accent wall for a master bedroom today.
What do you do when you get paint and decide it’s too dark? Change it, of course!! (Paint is still wet in photo.)

If you’re wanting to add color to your home but not ready to paint the whole house, choose an accent wall in a room (or 2 or 3) and start with that.

Clients moved out of state on Friday. Saturday I spent 13.5 hours cleaning a 6 bedroom, 4 bath huge home. (Plus the 5 hours a friend volunteered to help) If you’ve never done a market clean on a house, it’s easy to think it could be done in 6 or 8 hours. What takes so long?

*ceiling fans
*ceiling vents
*walls (especially if children are in the home🤣)
*baseboards
*doors/door frames
*MINIBLINDS
*windows
*switch plates/outlet covers
*closet shelves/built-ins
*light fixtures
*vacuum/sweep& mop
And that’s just the bedrooms.

Add the bathrooms: any of the above plus
*mirrors
*medicine cabinet
*sinks/vanity
*toilet
*tub/shower

Add in the kitchen:
*ALL appliances inside& out
*sink
*cabinets inside& out
*countertops
*backsplash

This particular house, the client had already done most of the cabinets inside. So thankful for that!! It was a very long day but productive!

Got a call from a Realtor friend on Thursday night. She had a client who needed a room painted so the house could go “live” on the MLS. I spent Friday morning painting and there were two showings while I was there. As crazy as this market is, I’m sure it will be sold in no time at all!
