Lots of flooring interest lately. Costs can be confusing at times, installation costs can vary and have extra hidden costs. Some wood or laminate flooring is faster and saves labor costs. Floor preparation such as carpet removal, trim options, floor repairs, transitions can add to the cost. So make certain you understand what the installation estimate includes and doesn't.

Completed another new duplex. Not alone lol, I only did wiring, plumbing, painting, wood floors, tile floors, and fixtures, etc. Foster Home Improvement did the structural work. But a very nice project.

Winter is a good time to have those fix it lists done. Make your lists and give me a call. Electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, most other things you may need done.

Don't forget to clean your gutters. Clogged gutters can cause a lot of damage to your home. Overflow can leak into walls and pull loose from house. Also remember to unhook your water hose so your spigot doesn't freeze this winter. If you have vents for your crawlspace, make sure they are closed, or cover with foam panels, same for your crawlspace access. Good luck

If you have any thing using gas in your home, make sure you have a carbon monoxide detector. These are not real expensive now days, but are important to protect you and your family. They start at around $ 16.

The 1st of the month is a good time to replace the filter in your heat/air system. Don't forget it, most units may only have a 30 day filter to start with.
