KP’s FALL GARDEN RULE
Give roots time.
Give plants room to grow.Think about the soil.Think about the shade.Think about the water.
Then comes the hardest part: be patient.
A beautiful garden isn’t rushed. Give it what it needs, give it time, and let nature do her part.

The heat this summer won't stop this 'Wild Thing'! Formally known as Salvia Greggii, this fuchsia, pink, salmon, yellow, or purple-colored sage is the perfect addition to your water-wise garden. It shrugs off the worst of the heat and gives the hummingbirds a sweet treat all season long 🌸

Some plants whisper. This one carries a torch 🔥

Kniphofia (a.k.a. ‘Regal Torch’) is the epitome of summer, sending flaming flowers up to the sky just as the hottest time of year hits. It loves the sun and needs very little water once settled.

The Echinocactus grusonii just screams "desert dweller"! Also known as Golden Barrel Cactus, and an iconic desert sight, this low-maintenance prickly garden addition thrives on full sun and almost zero water. It even stays round and sculptural season after season!

Trying to attract pollinators this summer? The Eriogonum (a.k.a. 'Kannah Creek Buckwheat') is the perfect pollinator magnet for any water-wise garden.

Sitting low to the ground, its golden blooms are a favorite hangout spot for bees and butterflies, and it requires very little water. It creates a beautifully buzzing ecosystem every summer!
