We were in the middle of delivering this sauna when in true fashion the neighbors started coming outside to see what was going on. 🧐😂

At first they were just curious… then they started asking questions, checking out the sauna, and wanting to know how they could get one too.

Before we had even finished getting it into place, the whole delivery had turned into a little neighborhood event — everyone was excited, everyone wanted to see it, and suddenly we were talking about who is bringing theirs home next!

This little progress video gives you a glimpse into just how much time, care, and effort goes into making sure every detail is right before one of our saunas ever reaches its new home.

And one of our favorite parts? From start to finish, this is small business supporting small business.

Our saunas are handcrafted in Estonia by a privately owned, family-run manufacturer. We’re a locally owned and operated small business here in Pittsburgh. And even our delivery contractor? Family owned and operated, too. He brought his son along for this delivery to help and learn the process — which made this one even sweeter. 🥹

We build these saunas, inspect them, and learn every detail of them ourselves. So when you choose our optional white-glove build + delivery service, we’re hands-on throughout to make sure yours is assembled with care and arrives at your home in perfect condition. Even with the storms trying to slow us down this week ⛈️, we made it happen.

At the end of a long build day, seeing a family step into their new sauna for the first time makes every minute worth it. 💛

Everyone asks about the sauna hat.

Sauna is more than wellness. It’s community.

Meet our buddy Scott. 😄

This was his first time wearing a sauna hat, and I don’t think he realized he’d become the unofficial mascot of guys’ sauna night.

My husband and his buddies have a standing sauna session two evenings a week. Whoever can make it, makes it. They know the wood-fired stove will be hot, the sauna will be at the perfect temperature, the essential oils will be ready, and there are always extra sauna hats waiting for whoever needs one.

Whether it’s 15 minutes or a couple of hours, they unplug. They talk about work, family, life, sports, and whatever else comes up.

We often focus on sauna’s physical benefits—recovery, heart health, stress reduction, and better sleep—but one of its greatest benefits has always been something much simpler: connection.

That’s been true in Nordic countries for generations. Sauna isn’t just a place to sweat, it’s a place to gather.

Maybe that’s the ritual we need most.
