Job Description:

We are a family-owned and operated plumbing and heating company located in the Valley seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform various plumbing and heating services for residential and commercial properties. Your main duties will include installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and heating systems.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and heating systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and heating issues
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Ensure all work is completed to meet industry standards and regulations
- Maintain a professional demeanor

Requirements:

State of Alaska Journeyman plumber license
Be knowledgeable of plumbing code and efficient installation practices
Have commercial and residential experience
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and heating systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Be dependable, motivated and responsible

Pay depends on experience, ranging up to $50 an hour for the right candidate. **What Happens During a Wind Storm?

1. **Venting Problems**: Your plumbing system relies on properly functioning vents to maintain pressure and allow wastewater to flow smoothly. Wind storms can disrupt this balance, potentially causing venting issues that lead to slow drainage or even backups.
2. **Drying Out P-Traps**: P-traps are designed to hold water, creating a barrier that prevents sewer gases from entering your home. However, during a wind storm, especially if windows or doors are left open, the strong winds can dry out these traps, leading to unpleasant odors and potential health risks.

**How to Wet Your P-Traps Again

Office Location: Wasilla, AK

Job Description:

We are a family-owned and operated plumbing and heating company located in the Valley seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for performing a variety of plumbing and heating services for residential and commercial properties. Your main duties will include installation and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and heating systems. Oversight of apprentice plumber on site Inspecting existing systems when required. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 to 3:30 with the occasional overtime.

Northern Plumbing & Heating, LLC is looking for Plumbers to join our team. Seeking Apprentice or Journeyman Plumbers, or those interested in starting in the trade. Experience in Plumbing, Heating or Construction is preferred but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate. This position will consist of New construction, occasional remodel work, boiler and water heater retrofits and some service work. This is a full time position with occasional over time. We are based in Wasilla therefore a majority of our work is in the Mat-Su Borough. There is opportunity for the right individual to move up in the company. Also, apprenticeship opportunities are available.

Ability to work alone and with others
Attention to detail
