VANDALISM AT VALLEY BLOCK & CONCRETE – $5,000 REWARD OFFERED
We’re reaching out to our community for help.
Valley Block & Concrete at 4492 E. Fairview Loop Rd. in Wasilla was vandalized again this past weekend — the second weekend in a row we’ve been targeted.
On Saturday, June 14th, between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, two individuals trespassed onto our property. Our security system captured them walking across the front of the office and attempting to break into our batch plant office, returning several times over a two-hour period. They tried opening windows, and at one point, one of them is seen holding a torch.
They also spray-painted vulgar graffiti on several of our concrete mixer trucks using safety orange paint, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
This comes just one week after another serious incident. On the weekend of June 7th, vandals:
• Discharged fire extinguishers inside trucks
• Smashed dashboards and broke off levers
• Threw a water pump into a pond
• Added water to the oil of a large Caterpillar commercial generator
That attack also caused many thousands of dollars in damage.
We have screenshots and video from multiple camera angles of the most recent suspects, and we are working closely with law enforcement. A report has been filed with the Alaska State Troopers Report .
We are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
We will pursue all legal options to identify and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, and we will spare no expense in holding them accountable in civil court as well.
If you recognize these individuals or have any information, please contact the Alaska State Troopers and reference the above case number or message us privately. All tips will be handled confidentially.
