Nick (or Dominick) has been restoring or custom building Oakland County masonry projects for over 15 years. From a stylish imported stone firepit patio in Birmingham to a 4 inch thick limestone facade for a new salon in West Bloomfield, Nick and Brixnstone has completed it all. Masonry restoration of pool tiles for Waterford Commons Condominiums. A horizontal crack between the tiles and the limestone caps all around the pool was allowing freeze thaw to pop the tiles off. Using the correct mortar mix for pool tiles is essential for a repair to last.

Here’s a beginning video of a restoration to this brick paver patio located in Troy Michigan. We are replacing the outside retaining wall, power washing the existing brick pavers, adding a new brick paver step,and redoing a black border brick for the new patio.

Final completion of the backyard real granite stone wall. The homeowner did a massive renovation. Problem was no brick match were available to fill in this new area for the doors. Our recommendation was to match this area with the stone on the front of the house, worked out perfect for them.

4/30 Small step project. Removal of existing brick used as the run on front steps and replace with 2 1/4" limestone to match back steps. Really nice change to the front look. The stone are still wet from final clean up.

Bottom courses of brick on the garage have deteriorated do to being exposed to the ground. We are digging out and removing the bottom 3 courses and installing 4" thick block up to grade. We will then tar the block and slope the ground appropriately away from the garage. We finished the first section on the right corner the other day.
