Today, we had the opportunity to host a plant tour at Jefferson Concrete Corp. for a group of visitors from multiple Southern Tier counties. The visit centered around the new Clam Shell 3-Sided Bridge project we are producing for the Town of Enfield in Tompkins County, while also giving us the chance to showcase our facility, our process, and the people behind the work.

Throughout the day, we walked through production, discussed precast solutions, and shared more about both Jefferson Concrete Corp. and the precast concrete industry as a whole. These visits are always a great opportunity to connect directly with counties, engineers, contractors, and owners to help show what goes into producing quality precast products.

We truly enjoy opening our doors and promoting not only our plant, but the precast community overall. Whether it’s counties, municipalities, contractors, engineers, or industry partners, we are always happy to host plant tours and continue building stronger relationships across the industry.

Proud to support the 1st Annual Jefferson County Safety Day as a vendor partner.

Great opportunity to connect with the Jefferson County Highway Department along with town highway departments from across Jefferson County while supporting training focused on workplace safety, compliance, and field operations.

Events like this matter. Strong crews, good training, and shared knowledge help keep the industry moving safely and efficiently. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of it and look forward to a great day in Watertown.

As we finally enter into spring, we also enter to perhaps our busiest and most challenging time of year. Many are not aware that Jefferson, like so many other precasters, got their genesis from the burial vault industry. Our history dates back to 1940's and we continue to serve the local funeral industry to this day. Referencing the challenging part, nearly all cemeteries in our region close for the winter. We are now entering "spring burial" season and will actually deliver and install about 50% of our annual burial vault sales between now and Memorial Day. Jefferson Concrete manufactures a complete line of Doric burial vaults. The significant part of this operation is that we deliver, install, and then set all of the graveside equipment for graveside services in all cemeteries in the region. We service the needs of nearly all of the funeral homes in Jefferson, Lewis, and Northern Oswego County. Our capable crew collectively has nearly 130 years of experience in servicing our funeral home customers and the families that they serve.
