With an extremely heavy heart I have to the announce the passing of my brother and business partner Tom McVey. He came to our family business full time in 1981 and has been with us since. No one worked harder,or cared more about our business than Tom. He loved being here surrounded by his family and enjoying our awesome customers and friends. His positive upbeat attitude and incredible work ethic made it fun to be around Tom. He will be incredibly missed by all of us. May God bless you Tom, please look over us. I was so proud to have you as my brother

The 6th generation made a guest appearance at the stoneyard today. This was Clara’s first visit, ( wearing her TH McVey Stone Co Shirt. Thanks Abby O’keefe). Big sister Rose showed her the way! These two make life fun. Heading to Disneyworld with them this week. Cant wait.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our co-worker Brian Fitzpatrick. Brian worked with us last season and made an immediate positive impact with his tremendous work ethic and engaging personality. He was a very good friend to Rob McVey Jr. and was like family to the rest of us. May God watch over you, your parents and brothers. You are very much missed by all of us.

We are deeply sorry to announce the passing of Charlie McVey on March 6, 2022. Charlie worked with us for over fifty years, and worked alongside five generations in our family business. His humor, along with his knowledge and ability to do many different jobs, will be greatly missed. Never does a day go by without one of us saying “Uncle Charlie would have said……” followed by a witty quote! Charlie retired two years ago to spend time with his daughter Michelle, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss Charlie very much, and will cherish the great memories.
