Just finished up this old farmhouse project with old plaster walls and original trim. We painted the walls gray and tan, along with fresh white ceilings and white trim, and repaired a ceiling patch in the living room. Everything cleaned up great and turned out to be a great transformation.

Getting this plaster-wall home ready for the market 🏡

After the wainscoting was removed, the dining room and kitchen were left with wallpaper and heavy glue. I removed the wallpaper, washed down the walls to knock down as much glue as possible, then sealed everything with a primer sealer before skim coating.

The dining room received two skim coats, followed by sanding and priming. The kitchen was in better shape, so it only needed patching, sanding, and priming. Clean prep, smooth walls, ready for paint.

Repaired water-damaged drywall, matched the existing orange peel texture, and repainted the ceiling, walls, and baseboards. Everything went back to the same color — just clean, fresh, and renewed.

Just wrapped up a bathroom transformation I’m seriously proud of. 👇🎨

Just wrapped up this master bedroom makeover 👇

• All walls freshly painted
• Ceilings done in a flat white
• Trim & doors were originally stained wood — I fully sanded them down, oil-primed them, and finished with two coats of trim paint for doors and trim (all brush & rolled)
• Three walls in a rich dark blue
• One bold black accent wall to tie the whole room together

This might be my favorite exterior project of the year so far! The house started out light blue in the front, tan in the back, and bare brick. After the homeowners added a new black roof and gutters, we tied everything together with a bold black & white color scheme.
