The Chore Store is blessed with so much work for the rest of the year, that sadly, I will not be scheduling any new work till 2022. We are focusing on completing our existing contracts on hand.

Lead carpenter needed for immediate start at The Chore Store. The right candidate must be able to work independently and must be able to oversee 1-2 laborers as jobs require. Must have a driver’s license and vehicle. References required.

Specific skills required:
Framing
Drywall
Interior painting
Hardwood flooring
Tiling

Please note, we require a team player. If you're highly skilled but routinely describe your skill in terms of "God's gift to...," you won't be a good fit for The Chore Store.

Today's blog brings you a remodel of a workshop into a house. We had to add a well, a septic system, and a ton of windows to turn this old outbuilding into a light-filled, open concept home.

This project involved turning a workshop into a residence, inside and out. We added a large number of new windows to turn the space into a well-lit, open concept home. The project included drilling a well and adding a septic system. Exterior Interior

Melissa here. I'm digging through the archives working on an updated Chore Store website, and I've got to share this one of Dad (Tom). He thinks this must have been from the early nineties, around the time he first started working for Allen, the original owner.
