Great news! We've partnered with The Handy Husband and will be merging into one company over the next few months! This allows us to share resources and assets with one another and provides the potential for long term growth.

With that being said, we're just under 2 weeks from Christmas and 3 from New years. If there's something you need done before family comes to town in the next few weeks, or if you need a larger project done, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We've got almost immediate openings for work for some of the smaller stuff, and are booked into early January on the larger stuff.

While we do a lot of bathrooms, that is by no means the limits to our work. We also do kitchens, basements, bars, backsplashes, decks, fences, custom carpentry, man caves and so much more. If you are able to dream it, we can complete it.

In Early 2020 (pre-pandemic) I was approached by a realtor, who we had done work for on her client's houses, and her and her husband wanted a steam shower in their master bathroom. This was the first steam shower I had gotten to do since going out on my own.

This one had it's challenges, including vent and AC/heat pipes running through one of the walls we needed to remove, a lack of water pressure and on demand heat in the bathroom and a few other things. We ended up giving them a large bench in the shower which was used to conceal the pipes as well as create a space to sit while in the steam shower.

We added a tankless water heater in the attic space above the bathroom to give the entire bathroom on demand heated water.

In the end, we gave them the bathroom they desired and it was not only functional but beautiful.

Over the years we have had many calls from people who were unhappy with their master bathrooms. Many times we would hear the same complaints, the shower was too small, the jetted tub was too big and took up too much space and was never used.

When we get these calls we like to meet with the customer in the space and go over their likes and dislikes and present options to each person that would appeal to their interests. A lot of times we end up discussing heated floors, a standalone tub, tile for the shower walls and pan, and a lot of times, tile on the surrounding wall for a sleek look. There are many other options available as well, but each space is unique and so are the options.

Each bathroom that we have done with the standalone tubs and a lot of tile has come out beautiful, and the clients seem to love their spaces when we are done.

In January of 2022 I got a phone call from a woman who was staying in the UK because her daughter was getting sick while in their house in Colorado. She said that they discovered that the cause was mold and that it needed to be remediated quickly. They had a mold remediation company take care of the mold, and needed us to replace 3 bathrooms, a laundry room and a few other things.

The basement bathroom was a clear DIY from the previous owners and it was poorly constructed. We discovered many issues as we did the demo, but were able to fix the issues and give them a much more usable space. We widened the bathroom a bit, by moving the wall that was shared between the laundry room and the bathroom and redid the vent for the dryer as well as the water supply lines and drain.

The master bathroom was small with a poor layout but the kids bathroom that shared a wall was much bigger than necessary so we moved the shared wall into the kids bath a bit and adjusted all the plumbing to accommodate the new layout. We rearranged the master bath to make it more appealing and make the flow better.

At the end of the project they had 3 new bathrooms, a new laundry room and no more mold, and no chance of mold coming back.
