Kurt’s burning the midnight oil to keep this fixer upper moving along! He’s removing wainscoting and old mirrors tonight. Even though it’s beautiful, the counter height was low leaving the built-in mirrors too low for updated vanities; plus outdated sconce lighting flanked the mirrors. He’ll add new moisture-retardant drywall or beadboard, beautiful new vanity lights, and updated/taller vanities. It’s gonna be sexy!

Renovation is always an adventure! In an effort to make the kitchen fabulous, we decided to take out the bulkheads so we could put in staggered cabinets. The original electrician put the wires around through the Bulkhead instead of through the holes drilled in the top plate. All the wiring had to be redone.
