Made time to get some Milo plots in before the rain tonight for Rural Kansas Outfitters. This may seem strange to some, but I did this as cost effective as possible. These plots had been tilled in the past so I broadcast the seed a little on the heavy side straight into the weeds and then followed it up with some gly. The seed was free so worst case I’m out a little time and chemical. Don’t be too picky on your food plots. I’m sure the deer won’t!

A couple client food plots coming in nicely! The first one is a mix of beans, peas and sunflowers. The second one is a chicory mix. The next batch of rain should do them some good!

What seems natural and easy to some, may seem very hard and foreign to others. Burning native grasses is definitely one of those things. Fortunately, we have a lot of experience in doing this safely and efficiently!

Installed water control structures on some managed duck properties this week. Turning natural duck holes into managed duck magnets is the most cost affective way to increase the amount of waterfowl on your property! 📍
