I take way too many pictures of trees, clouds, flowers, and anything else that doesn’t talk back when I aim a

camera at it. At first, I just hoarded these photos like digital souvenirs—but then one day, while doing a puzzle, I found myself wishing for more beautiful nature scenes to piece together. What started as a fun side project has turned into a full-blown creative adventure. Now I turn my original photography into watercolor-inspired prints, puzzles, and other products for fellow nature lovers (and picky puzzlers) like me. I stopped by Mule Barn Mercantile today to check on my puzzle inventory, and honestly ended up leaving with the best kind of surprise.

A couple came in asking about the Mule Barn and Waxhaw, and I was happy to chat with them about both. I love when people are discovering the area and want to learn more about it.

They noticed my puzzles, said they loved them, and decided to buy the Mule Barn one to remember where they met me… and then asked me to SIGN it.

I’ve never signed a puzzle box before!

Such a small moment, but it really meant a lot. ❤️

What a difference a year makes! 🎉

I started this little fun side hustle with a “Why Not” mentality. Walked into the Mule Barn Mercantile with a few pictures and a ton of ideas. Skip to a year later, I’ve learned so much and continue to evolve. I still have a ton of ideas, but love the direction it’s going!
