I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I just wanted to fill everyone in on a big announcement, with some good and bad news. I’ll start with the bad news. Unfortunately I am closing Cole’s Greenhouse. The good news is I’ve accepted a position as landscape designer and sales associate at a large garden center in New Orleans! As sad as I am to close the greenhouse, I am also very excited for this new opportunity (and warmer weather). As far as all the leftover plants, I’ll probably have to play by ear, but will likely be running a sale sometime this spring on all remaining trees, shrubs, perennials and houseplants. If you’re interested in anything please message me. I will still keep the Cole’s Greenhouse group running as a forum for anything plant and gardening related, so feel free to keep posting in there. Thanks again for a great year at the greenhouse!

Need a last minute Christmas gift? Or just wanna add another plant to the collection? Check out these little terrarium “snow globes” I just put together. Each one is filled with a different African Violet or Episcia and white pebbles to resemble snow. These terrariums are perfect for these humidity loving plants! The glass does come off as well. The Terra cotta pots allow for easy “bottom-watering” since African Violets don’t like their leaves getting wet. I have 6 total but can make more if I need to! Comment or message if interested. Begonia collectors/lovers check this out!! Finally made it back from Florida and got all the plants sorted out. Since space was limited, many of these are very limited or only one is available, so if you want something I recommend reaching out quickly. Plants can be picked up or can try to arrange to meet since the greenhouse is unheated and closed. I will be posting some more plants as well, but these are all the begonias! Plant names, quantity available and prices are under each photo. Message or comment if interested!

These hydrangeas have shined for months now through both hot and cold weather. ‘Let’s Dance Can Do!’ Reblooming Hydrangea is the best reblooming hydrangea on the market. This hydrangea also creates flower buds up and down the entire length of the stems giving you a plant full of color! They grow 3-4’ tall and wide and are hardy to zone 4.
