I’m in a funk. My will to create is in the toilet, however I need to create keep me sane. It’s like playing ring around the rosie in my own head. I have multiple large paintings started, just no ambition to finish them. Time to take it back to my art journal. I don’t need to force myself to finish work for art fairs as I am not participating in any this year. Maybe it’s time to just play and see what happens.

“Healing”
This piece originally started out as AI art in which I thrifted. I covered the canvas with a layer of collage and words of affirmation, followed by acrylic paint, then drew the raven wearing a 17th century plague mask. This piece reflects healing from self doubt and focuses on the originality of art created by one’s hands and imagination, and not AI.
