Its been awhile so i have lots of good stuff to share with you. Lets start with this article on that Brooklyn brownstone I've been working on. Here is a very large cloud mural painted in the tray ceiling of a two-story great room. Because the windows reached so high to the ceiling I decided to play with the sheen of the paints. So I painted the sky using a flat finish And started rendering the clouds with eggshell. For the final coats of the clouds I used semi gloss. This method creates that reflective look coming in from the windows. And adds a dimension to the mural that is priceless!

Here is a shot from the guestroom of the Brooklyn brownstone. It's a white on light gray two-tone design. I also cut and installed the shelving running up the side wall. Again mostly a straight paint job but being the age and condition of the walls and fireplace it was a feat

Here is a shot of the Brooklyn brownstone stairwell. I know it doesn't seem like its a major deal because it's mostly straight painting but to get things looking this crisp after 150+ years of wear was a task unto itself.

This is a shot of the pollack troweled wall posted earlier. It's from a photo shoot that took place in my clients home by a well known photographer.

This was an experimental technique that in person is gorgeous. Unfortunately it doesn't quite show in the photo. I started with a lightly troweled dark brown/black paint Leaving a subtle texture. Then I took the primary colors of red yellow and green and threw them on the walls with small artist brushes creating a Jackson Po***ck type look. And then I finished by troweling a dark brown/black metallic over that to help the primary colors sit down And unify the wall.
