To anyone coming to Ohio Ren this weekend. Please read. Ashley said it perfectly. Be kind, it’s been a very long night for site crew and all workers.
Ohio friends, please read the below.
The site will be open tomorrow. Rain or shine. This is the way. HOWEVER, We ask that you please be kind to all of the workers and staff here. You cannot imagine the hardship that some people have been enduring today. Treat every single person with compassion and kindness. Some folks will be down on their luck, some will have been up all night trying to salvage what they can and others will have no spoons to give, but yet will put a smile on their face to make the magic happen. Because this is what we do.
We also ask that you keep in mind how hard the ground crew is working to clear out the debris. The site crew here and Massie Township have been busting it to do what they can while they struggle in the dark. We can honestly say that this crew is some of the hardest working folks we know on circuit that also double as stage acts, security and everything in between.
Let’s all remember that every single person here not only brings the magic but also deserves to be treated with kindness.
As we walk and slosh and skip into tomorrow, let’s extend grace. Be generous and be kind.
