Okay, we can finally tell y’all the truth. 🤫 For the last two weeks, Waynesville Soda Jerks has secretly been Carl the Sasquatch’s home base— his official hideout during his big summer journey across Western NC with Visit Smokies Find Carl scavenger hunt!

The whole time he was here, Carl was every bit the local legend— swapping stories with fellow explorers, catching up with old pals like Phoebe Sasquatch and Gene the Bear Nantahala Cabins, and (we won’t lie) sneaking a taste of a few tasty sodas around the production facility when he thought no one was looking. 👀

But every good hideout has to end sometime. Today, Carl’s packing up his giant feet and heading off to his next stop on the journey. Thanks to everyone who followed the clues and found him with us— we are going to miss him so much! We will not miss finding Sasquatch hair around the corners of the shop, though. 😄
