Parker County Master Gardeners

Parker County Master Gardeners Located in north central Texas, PCMGA is an educational and volunteer program sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service Got a gardening question?

We’re a group of volunteers who love gardening and giving back to our community. You’ll find us tending to gardens at nine different sites around Parker County—it’s one of the main ways we stay connected to the soil and each other. We also enjoy sharing what we know. You can catch us at our Ask a Master Gardener booth during First Monday events and other local happenings. Our members help the publ

ic problem solve when they reach out by phone, email, or in person at our office! Every month, we host a lunch meeting with a fun and informative presentation. Topics have included everything from Texas Superstars and honeybees to herbal remedies, rainwater harvesting, and Firewise landscaping. Want to dig in deeper? We run study groups throughout the year on hands-on topics like soil health, plant propagation, bugs, landscaping, and veggie gardening. And for a little adventure, we take field trips to explore interesting places—like hydroponic farms, dahlia nurseries, lavender fields, and even horticulture research centers. If that sounds like fun to you, consider growing with us!
