Decided to try my luck with retiling my bathroom. The old tile has probably been in here since the house was built and was so hard to clean and just didn’t look good to me. I ripped out the old tile and all the mortar under it and like every small project it turned into a bigger one because the toilet fl**ge was leaking. I replaced the toilet drain and sink drain with PVC and converted over to pex for the waterlines. A lot of time was wasted because I couldn’t make up my mind on what tile I liked but I am very happy with how this project worked out. I even gave the walls a fresh coat of paint put a new doorknob in place of the old brass one, and added new moulding.
