We are open by appointment for the 2025 season. It will be the last season for Natural Selections Nursery. But we have some beautiful plants left.

Below are some of the available plants: bloodroot, tall thimbleweed
, American alumroot, Turkscap lily, Carolina rose. More soon.

We open for the 2024 season 4/13 from 10-4. The nursery will be open every Saturday from 10-4 through May 18. Visiting by text or phone appt is also highly encouraged outside of open hours.

Trout lily, shooting stars and ramps in limited quantities are available now.

I would add this is true for the horticultural industry too. Seed is not the controlled substance though, here it is asexual reproduction (cloning) and patents. It’s not about what’s good for the earth and all who live on it. The motivation is profits disguised by the rhetoric of beauty.

My front garden is amazing right now. Cup plant in between hollow joe pye and common milkweed. Downy skullcap wanders around the edges…and so much more.

Tomorrow Saturday June 3 we will only be open from. 10-12. Short day I know. Come visit us by appt during the week. The seeds I planted last fall are growing; Echinacea purpurea, Coreopsis major, and Monarda fistulosa will be potted up soon.
