Had to borrow these from Nash because I didn’t get the shots myself — too busy working, as usual.
Appreciate the shoutout. I assembled and installed the two louvered cabinets in the laundry room and added crown to the existing kitchen cabinets to finish them off. He’s got the crown ready for paint and it’s going to tie everything together nice.
Solid project all around — Nash is making good ground on this one and doing it right. Looking forward to seeing it once everything’s wrapped up.

For most of my adult life I’ve worked in construction.
I started out swinging a hammer as a carpenter and spent 16–17 years learning the trade the right way — framing houses, building decks, fixing things that weren’t built right the first time, and figuring out how to solve problems when a plan didn’t go exactly the way it looked on paper.
Eventually that experience led me into running larger projects.

For the last 7 years I worked as a construction superintendent, overseeing crews and coordinating million-dollar commercial jobs. Restaurants, childcare centers, healthcare facilities — projects where a lot of people are counting on things being done correctly and on time.

That experience teaches you something important.
It’s not the size of the job that matters.
What matters is how it’s done.
Some of the most important work in a home isn’t a giant remodel.
It’s the deck where the family sits in the evening.
The stairs people use every day.
The repairs that make a house solid and safe again.

That’s why I started Altius Services.

The word Altius is Latin. It means “higher.”

The goal is simple:

Build a company that does construction the way it should be done — with clear communication, solid craftsmanship, and no surprises.

Before starting Altius Services, I spent seven years working as a General Superintendent for a nationwide general contractor, managing large commercial construction projects across multiple states.
During that time, I oversaw construction for nationally recognized clients, including:
Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
Purple Mattress retail showrooms
