Homeowners: if you have a roof that’s low-pitch, just 1-2 stories and easily walkable - how would you feel if a contractor inspected it with a drone and didn’t walk it at all?

I was looking up controversial roofing topics with a goal of seeing if any that came up surprised me, since I’m very familiar with some of them already of course, and this one surprised me. Some homeowners are pretty opposed to done inspections apparently.

This contradicts my experience in the field as most homeowners who I’ve done drone inspections for found it interesting. I only go this route on roofs that are unsafe to walk. Anyway, I can understand why a homeowner might fear that a drone inspection wouldn’t be thorough. I just didn’t know this possibility was on people’s radar.

I should look deeper into why because I’m honestly not 100% sure if this is natural or an indication of poor workmanship - but I tend to see blow offs much more frequently on ridge caps than field shingles! 👀
